The Maxpedition Fliegerduffel Adventure Bag is designed for travelers who want to maximize carry-on capacity without checking luggage. Sized to meet FAA carry-on regulations and accepted by most airlines, this versatile travel bag combines organized storage with multiple carry methods and the rugged durability Maxpedition is known for.
Measuring 22 inches long, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches high, the Fliegerduffel provides approximately 2,380 cubic inches of storage while remaining suitable for overhead compartments on most flights. The main compartment includes a tie-down strap to help secure packed gear, while internal mesh pockets and exterior slip pockets keep smaller essentials organized and easily accessible.
A top exterior sleeve pocket offers quick access to frequently used items, and PALS attachment webbing expands your carrying options with compatible accessories.
Switch between traditional duffel carry, the padded 2-inch shoulder strap, or the concealable contoured backpack straps with integrated sternum strap depending on your destination and load. The Fliegerduffel also accommodates hydration reservoirs up to 100 ounces (3 liters), making it equally useful beyond airports for hiking, training, and outdoor travel.
Constructed from lightweight 1000-denier ballistic nylon with a Teflon fabric protector, the bag also features AS-100 closed-cell foam padding, reinforced nylon webbing, heavy-duty #10 zippers, UTX-Duraflex buckles, and high-tensile composite nylon thread for dependable long-term performance. The Fliegerduffel also appeared in the film The Expendables 3.
The Maxpedition Fliegerduffel Adventure Bag offers an excellent balance of airline-friendly dimensions, organized storage, and multiple carrying options. Its durable construction and thoughtful layout make it a dependable companion for business trips, vacations, range outings, and everyday travel.
