The Schrade Survival Tactical Pen Black combines writing capability with a survival whistle, glass breaker, striking tip, and hidden ferro rod. Its grooved CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum housing provides a secure grip, while the black stainless steel pocket clip supports convenient everyday or emergency gear carry.
The Schrade Survival Tactical Pen Black packs several preparedness features into a rugged aluminum writing tool. Measuring approximately 5.88 inches closed and 6.38 inches with the cap posted, it uses grooved CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum construction for a secure grip and durable everyday handling.
A built-in survival whistle adds signaling capability without requiring a separate accessory. The end of the pen also incorporates a striking plate tip that can serve as a self-defense tool or glass breaker when needed.
Unscrewing the striking tip reveals a 1.13-inch ferro rod for fire starting. This hidden feature gives the pen additional value in outdoor, camping, emergency, or preparedness kits where compact multipurpose gear is preferred.
The grooved 6061-T6 aluminum housing provides texture for controlled handling, while a black stainless steel pocket clip keeps the pen secure on clothing, notebooks, packs, or organizers. The pen writes with black ink for everyday notes and paperwork.
The Schrade Survival Tactical Pen is well suited for users who want more than a basic writing instrument. Its whistle, ferro rod, glass breaker, and rugged aluminum construction make it particularly useful for emergency kits and outdoor gear.
